i just received an email from my cousin. i know she had given birth two weeks ago. baby is premature and i had not visited her cos i was caught up with work.

then i was informed that she has pre-eclampsia. 75% blind in both eyes now. kidneys and liver failing. baby is only a kg light. one of them may not make it out alive.

and why do i spend all my time in work again?

someone more dear to me needs my support more than my work does.
